See what all went on during the WCRR on Thursday!

Budweiser has long been a major sponsor of WRCA, and this year, the company offered even more. Rodeo fans could meet two of the famous Budweiser Clydesdales stalled inside the Ranch Expo.

Cowboy poet Curt Brummett was among the entertainers who went to the Veterans Affairs hospital in Amarillo on Nov. 8. Veterans Day falls during the World Championship Ranch Rodeo, and WRCA is always proud to honor our country’s veterans.

Cowboy entertainer runs in the family for the Milners. Dad Chuck got his children, Cody and Hallie, in on the act Nov. 8 at the VA hospital.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Pokey the Clown’s Junior Ranch Rodeo, which is held as part of the WCRR to help children learn about and celebrate the ranching way of life.

This young fan tries out the saddle that will be raffled off to benefit the Working Ranch Cowboys Foundation.

Teams from all over the western United States filed into Amarillo Civic Center Nov. 8 for the first night of the WCRR.

Pokey the Clown and cowboy singer Jeff Gore ham it up for the veterans Nov. 8. In addition to the entertainment at the veteran’s hospital, WRCA also honors veterans by flying the flags of each branch of the armed services during the opening ceremonies of each rodeo performance.
