Working Ranch Cowboys Foundation introduces,
"Calves for a Cause"

Welcome to the newest way to donate to the WRCF:  an organization that benefits working ranch cowboys and their children.  Many of you are familiar with the Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championship Ranch Rodeo.  The World Championship is not only a premier event to showcase the skills of the working cowboy but is also the primary fundraiser for the WRCF.  Over the last 15 years the WRCF has also received donations from many individuals and trusts.  The WRCF continues to be blessed by each ticket sale, auction item, raffle ticket and personal donation made by our fan base, and the World Championship Rodeo will always serve as a venue for preserving, protecting, educating, giving & receiving.

It is your hard earned dollars that have helped the WRCF distribute more than half a million dollars over the last 15 years.  In 2010, alone the foundation issued over $75,000 just in crisis assistance, $33,000 in scholarships and a grant to Clarendon College Ranch & Feedlot Operations program of $50,000.  We are absolutely covered up with requests for scholastic assistance & one never knows when a crisis will arise for a working cowboy or his immediate family members.  There is also the goal of creating a WRCA/WRCF Retirement Ranch where a working cowboy can continue to do what he or she loves.

By now you probably understand the need to generate another venue where folks like yourself can help the WRCF fulfill the needs of the working cowboy.  That venue is "Calves for a Cause"!  The Working Ranch Cowboys Foundation is asking you to donate the proceeds of one or more calves from your 2011 calf crop.  It is that simple!  If you do not have a calf crop that's okay too; the donation can still be made.  Your help is needed to make a difference in the lives of cowboys during hard times and in the future of their children.

If you would like to donate and receive a pledge card please call the WRCA/WRCF Office in Amarillo, Texas at (806)374-9722 .   Contributors will be recognized in the WRCA "Hungry Loop" newsletter, WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo Program, and on the WRCA website unless you tell us otherwise.  www.wrca.org

Think about it, pray about it and help preserve, protect and promote the working cowboy today!

Respectfully,
